Join us Saturday, July 11, at 10 AM as we come together across the Delaware Valley to send a message to Citizens Bank and raise awareness in our communities about Citizen’s role in supporting for-profit detention operators.
Citizens Financial Group, through subsidiaries like Citizens Bank, has long financed private prison and detention operators despite decades of allegations of abuse, neglect, forced labor, and fraud. Companies like CoreCivic and GEO Group have caused widespread harm — including wrongful deaths, medical neglect, and exploitation.
Right here in Pennsylvania, GEO operates the Moshannon Valley Processing Center, the largest ICE detention facility in the Northeast, just three hours from Montgomery County.
